Armed Forces Personnel Uniforms 

whether it is 
.. as in the instance of the subject matter of this post .. 

Police Officer uniforms 

or 

Navy Officer uniforms 

or 

Air Force Officer uniforms 

or 

Army Officer uniforms 

or 

Other Armed Forces Personnel uniforms
as may
vary internationally
with
the country in immediate focus. 


perhaps,
one should mention
that

despite the beauty of female folk
.. internationally .. 

when
wearing

Armed Forces Personnel uniforms 
e.g 
Police Officer uniforms 

the Security Forces job function
is a job
that

has
a high risk component

as
the Officer is
sometimes exposed to
personal life and death risk.

over the years 
one has come across 

.. in various media .. 

expressions like ; 

THE OFFICER DIED WHILE IN ACTIVE SERVICE 

THE OFFICER DIED IN THE LINE OF DUTY 



these sort of expressions
have
sometimes
made one wonder 


what the back up is for the families of deceased officers ? 

.. especially for
those bereaved families
where
the deceased officer was
the sole bread winner
or
the major bread winner ? 


... and also for
bereaved families
whose
deceased officer bread winner member

did not die after retirement
but
while still in active service

- - and did not die from illness or ailment - -

but died because their life was cut short

.. perhaps by a bullet or some other weapon ..

while
serving their country doing the best of their ability ?
i.e
while
doing their job to the best of their ability ? 


one has sometimes wondered
if
it is possible
for a country like Nigeria
to
put in place something like : 

(1) a scholarship
from primary school level to university level
for
all children of any Nigeria Armed forces Personnel
e.g
police officers
who die while in the line of duty ? 


(2) automatic employment
by
the Federal Government
in
any and all of it's
various ministries, agencies and parastatals
for
all children of
any Nigeria Armed forces Personnel
e.g
police officers
who die while in the line of duty ? 


(3) a kind of

special insurance scheme

with
good appreciable premium payment
for
all Nigeria Armed forces Personnel
e.g
police officers 


and

a
specially benefical premium package
which should be paid immediately 

... without 
long protocol 
or 
extensive red tape 
or

delay causing beauracratic procedures
or 
too much paper work ... 

to
the identified family of the deceased
when
an officer dies while in the line of duty ? 


moving aside from issues like
