who was contesting the elections 
on the platform of 

the NIGERIA PEOPLES PARTY [ NPP ] 

while 

Yoruba tribe folks 
looked at the moon at night 
and 
rumoured that 
the shadow on the face of the moon 
is 
the Yoruba tribe personality 

CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO 

who was contesting the elections 
on the platform of 

the UNITY PARTY OF NIGERIA [ UPN ] 

🟦 for many years in Nigeria 

.. virtually throughout the period
from 1972? A.D to 2013? A.D
the rumour about the shoe company BATA
was that
it was a company formed by an Indian ( i.e Asian ) fellow named BATA
who came to Nigeria from India
and started trading in shoes
and over time
built it up into the robust company
( .. sales, .. manufacturing )
that it was in Nigeria 

and i personally 

had taken that rumour to be a rumour 
containing the absolute truth 
until 
some time in 2013? A.D 
i wrote out that rumour somewhere 
on the internet 

and 
thereafter began a Google Search for 
photos of BATA shoes 
to include as photos 
( i.e as edits .. image edits )
in the stuff 
i had already posted 

and 

found to my surprise 
that BATA 
is not restricted to Nigeria 
and 
is in fact
a company originated in Europe ( Western? Europe ) 
which has outlets 
in a number of countries around the world

there are folks who 
worked in Nigeria 
as 
CIVIL SERVANTS

as 
WORKERS
IN

THE GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA
AND 
IT'S MINISTRIES, AGENCIES AND PARASTATALS

and that 
these folks 
WORKED FOR
UP TO 35 YEARS 
AND
RETIRED 

and
when they died 
the BANKS ?
