RIHANNA NM , here's .. with all due respect .. a view pertaining to some of the posts at the IJEOMA DAISY VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM that mention a proposed EXHIBITION by the talented artist UZO NJOKU scheduled for the NOVEMBER 22, 2025 date
Rihanna nnkeh nm ohfoo sorr-sorr,
Rihanna nkem ofu soso,
i was browsing by the other day fairly recently at INSTAGRAM
when i browsed upon a post by/at the IJEOMA DAISY VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM.
by and large, i sometimes find some the posts at the page interesting
just like
i sometimes find some of the posts at the LINDA IKEJI BLOG VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM interesting
so instead of
just
SCROLLING ON
SCROLLING DOWN the homepage page
as i am often times wont to do
i guessed perhaps i should stop by for a second or two and see what the content of that particular post is/was about.
the post showed
.. if my memory serves correctly.. a photo of His Royal Highness, The Oba of Lagos i.e The King of Lagos
and
a lady who as at that time i did not know anything about.
( P.S : Rihanna ohbee nm,
Oba = the Yoruba tribe word for King i.e the Yoruba language word for King.
it is not to be confused or mistaken with the Igbo / Ibo language word Oba which has the same alphabets i.e spelling and is actually the name of a town in Anambra State, Nigeria )
browsing through the post, it evinced that the post indicated that His Royal Highness, The Oba of Lagos had indicated that His Royal Majesty, The Oba of Lagos did not wish that exhibition to hold.
after reading through the post, i made a comment there.
I HAVE DELETED THAT COMMENT THAT I MADE THERE.
however, i can recall what i wrote there and the stuff immediately below is what i wrote there :
πͺ @ijeomadaisy : Respects and Greetings. with all due respect, biko kedu ubosi anyi bu ndigbo ga enwe uche ? obuzi na this talented Uzo Njoku enwero ike ifu ofu asusu igbo nwe the same meaning or approximate meaning as the Yoruba language word owambe ? also, biko kedu ife di wrong with holding that exhibition na Onitsha or Enugu or Awka or Owerri for example ? obu by force and under must na oga emililia na obodo ndi Yoruba ? why onwero ike host the exhibition na obodo ndigbo e.g Onitsha, Enugu, etc ? biko kedu ubosi anyi bu ndigbo ga enwe uche ? just wondering ... in any case, if the issue is that she is using a Yoruba word viz : owambe to headline her cultural exhibition it may be wise for her to replace it with an English word and if the issue is that an igbo woman is hosting a cultural exhibition in Yoruba-land e.g Lagos it may be wise for her to change the venue to Igbo-land e.g Onitsha, Owerri, Aba, Umuahia, Enugu, etc. Warm Regards, Ijeoma Daisy, nwa nnem nwanyi
Rihanna ohbee nnkeh nm,
Rihanna obi nkem,
i let it go at that and rolled on browsing.
after some time .. maybe a couple of days or so .. .. if my memory serves correctly.. it occurred to me
-- for some reason --
-- straight out of the blues --
-- straight out of nowhere --
that the lady MS. UZO NJOKU that the IJEOMA DAISY VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM had referred to in that post may have an account i.e a page at instagram
and that perhaps i should check if such a page exists at instagram and if there is any reference to the subject matter of THE IJEOMA DAISY VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM post there
so i keyed UZO NJOKU into the INSTAGRAM SEARCH FUNCTION
and a very interesting page came up.
there were 2 or 3 posts there relating to THE EXHIBITION
and a net summary of what i saw there seems to be that she had put in a whole lot of hard work spanning at least .. perhaps .. a 3 year period towards the proposed exhibition.
the page ( instagram handle = @uzo.art ) is .. in my own personal opinion .. a brilliantly put together page
although i was frightened by the circumstance that she mentioned USA Dollar amounts on that page and insecurity is regarded in some quarters as an issue here in the Nigeria of today
( refer for example to THE RECENT DEATH OF ARISE TV NIGERIA NEWSCASTER SOMMIE MADUAGWU WHO DIED IN ABUJA F.C.T, NIGERIA DURING A RAID IN THE NIGHT BY THIEVES / ROBBERS / ARMED ROBBERS AT HER) APARTMENT )
( the interested reader can Google this and see what turns up )
and i hoped that she might somehow key in on a view not to attract the attention of negative? folks to herself through her own page and perhaps edit out those figures and perhaps just simply say that she intends to do her best to make the event a sucess.
if i remember correctly, i followed the page and left without posting any comments there.
i guess
.. if my memory serves correctly ..
it occurred to me
-- for some reason --
-- straight out of the blues --
-- straight out of nowhere --
that i could copy the post / comment i had made at
THE IJEOMA DAISY VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM
and
post it at
THE UZO NJOKU VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM.
so i re-adapted the post to contain a reference to MS. UZO NJOKU i.e to contain the instagram handle @uzo.art
and i posted the re-adapted material at a post at her page.
Rihanna nm, i guess the stuff immediately below is along the lines of the stuff that i posted / commented there :

after posting the stuff i guessed that was it
until some time later
.. maybe a couple of days or so later
-- if my memory serves correctly --
it occured to me
straight out of nowhere
right out of the blues
for some reason
that
folks who do not understand the igbo / ibo language which i partly written in at the posts may not
grasp the intended message / intended communication of the post(s)
and that
some mischievous folks may claim to understand the igbo / ibo that i wrote there and in their mischief making
misinterprete the material entirely
and so that perhaps it might be of some sort of value
if i added AN INTERPRETATION IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE OF THE IGBO / IBO LANGUAGE WRITTEN THERE.
so i browsed to the IJEOMA DAISY VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM ( Instagram handle = @daisyijeoma )
and re-posted the material WITH THE ADDITION OF AN INTERPRETATION INTO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE OF THE RELATIVELY FEW IGBO / IBO LANGUAGE WORDS IN THE MATERIAL
after which i then browsed over to the UZO NJOKU VERIFIED ACCOUNT PAGE at INSTAGRAM ( Instagram handle = uzo.art )
re-adapted the material such that the Instagram handle uzo.art comes/reads first and posted the material.
I HAVE SINCE THEN DELETED THE POSTS.

some time later
probably a day or two days later
.. if my memory serves correctly ..
it occurred to me that :
π₯ the November 22, 2025 date is fast approaching
π₯ if the talented artist, Ms. Uzo Njoku desires to host that exhibition on that date
WITHOUT THAT EXHIBITION BEING STOPPED BY
POLICE OFFICERS SENT THERE LEGALLY TO ENSURE THAT THE EXHIBITION DOES NOT HOLD
OR
A COURT ORDER BARRING THE EXHIBITION FROM TAKING PLACE ON THAT DATE
OR
SOME OTHER LEGAL ENFORCEMENT BACKED BY ADMINISTRATION
then it would be of some value for her to plead with some highly placed persons i.e some highly influential persons to seek the audience of
His Royal Highness, The Oba of Lagos
and
the Yoruba Youth Council
on her behalf
and
intercede on her behalf
and
plead on her behalf.
so i wrote a post likening the scenario to a scenario where His Royal Highness, The Obi of Onitsha i.e The King of Onitsha writes to the relevant arm of the Anambra State Government to stop a young Yoruba tribe artist based in the United States of America from hosting an exhibition in Onitsha, Anambra State i.e Igbo-land, Nigeria
( πͺ P.S : the intended venue of the UZO NJOKU ART EXHIBITION i.e 57 Raymond Njoku Street, Ikoyi is located in Lagos State, Yoruba-land, Nigeria )

RE : A COMMENT WITH REGARDS TO THE EXHIBITION PROPOSED TO START FROM NOVEMBER 22, 2025
Respects and Greetings.
please permit me to comment further on the proposed exhibition.
in this regards, may i take the liberty to note as follows :
[1] according to some posts at Ijeoma Daisy verified account page at instagram, : His Royal Highness, The Oba of Lagos i.e The King of Lagos has written to a relevant arm of the Government of Lagos State seeking that the exhibition be stopped from holding i.e the exhibition should not be allowed to hold.
[2] for the purposes of getting a clear picture of the development, this can be equated theoretically for the purposes of this post, to a situation where a young Yoruba tribe lady female artist based in the USA wishes to host an exhibition in Onitsha, Anambra State i.e in Igboland and His Royal Highness, The Obi of Onitsha i.e the King of Onitsha writes to a relevant arm of the Government of Anambra State seeking that the exhibition be stopped from holding i.e the exhibition should not be allowed to hold.
[3] it is very clear that this is a very serious development
[4] the way and manner by which and in which Ms. Uzo Njoku responds to the development can determine whether His Royal Highness, The Oba of Lagos will take a benevolent, kind, forgiving look at the matter and lend his support to the exhibition or whether His Royal Highness, The Oba of Lagos will insist that the exhibition should not be allowed to hold in his domain.
[5] it is up to Ms. Uzo Njoku to decide on the approach with which she wishes to proceed.
[6] if i may be permitted the liberty to give a suggestion, it would be my suggestion(s) thar :
(i) Ms. Uzo should plead for the benevolence, kindness and support of His Royal Highness, The Oba of Lagos.
(ii) she should plead for the forgiveness of His Royal Highness, The Oba of Lagos in every area in which she was wrong and make amendments i.e corrections of those wrongs
(iii) she should also extend this pleas to the Yoruba Youth Council and/or the Yoruba Progressive Elites Forum especially as it is the request they brought before π© GO TO PART 2 π©
